Great Tip from a Reader! *UPDATED*

Reader Candace sent me this message earlier today:

"Hey "frugal"! I stumbled on a deal at King Soopers that I thought you might like. Buy 4 specific Kellogg's cereals(Fruit Loops, Apple Jacks, Raisin Bran, Rice Crispies, Frosted Wheat) and two gallons of their Colorado Proud milk and each item costs 1 dollar. I used a few coupons on the cereal and then at checkout I got a coupon for $3 off my next purchase. So,all 6 things were free!"

I'll be heading over to King Soopers to score this deal for myself. Will you? Be sure to check for Kellogg's coupons before you head out!

Thanks, Candace!!

Head over to SpringsBargains for more information on this great deal.

******* Here's how this awesome deal went down for me when I stopped by KS this afternoon:

I purchased 2 boxes of Corn Pops, 2 boxes of Apple Jacks and 2 gallons of Colorado Proud milk. There is a Smart Source "blinkie" machine in the cereal aisle of my KS (the one on Lexington and Woodmen) that has coupons for $1.00 off 2 boxes of Apple Jacks or Corn Pops. I grabbed 2 of them and headed to check out. Here's what happened next:

Wow... I sincerely apologize for the crummy quality of this picture. If you squint just right, you can see that I paid $4.03 out of pocket, after my 2 cereal coupons, for my 4 boxes of cereal and 2 gallons of milk. As if that wasn't enough, I received a catalina for $3.00 off my next order. Bottom line is, I paid $1.03 for 4 boxes of cereal and 2 gallons of milk! Yay!!
